Grade 5... so far...

This year has been a whole lot more crazier than last year because we have gotten older and have more math:( so get ready viewer this is gonna be a roller coaster ride...

We have a lot more things to do like what does x equal and crazy stuff like that! Anyways, there is also a lot of cool things this year like gala which is coming up and like enrichment day which is also coming up( I feel like I'm just listing the things that are coming up!) Oh wait, there was camp which has already happened but you will have to read my next blog to find out about camp...

There has also been drama here like fights, crushes, and liking your best friends crush(which goes against the best friend code!) but I feel like each day we are getting more grown up and its kinda scary thinking about your future whether or not you and your friends are still friends and high school!

There has also been harder cycle tests but I think I have gotten better at those! Like my last cycle test ( social science ) I got full marks, 100%!!! YAY! stupid computer it doesn't that yay is a word! But anyways thanks for reading my blog I hope you liked it please feel free to comment NICE things on my blog once you have read them.

My life in an informal settlement

Hi, my name is Shanon and I live in an informal settlement in South Africa. I want to tell you what  my life is like. Sooo.... I have school every morning but it is so far to walk to. There are LOADS of kids and I don't get much attention so I can't spell loverly right (right? Ya). It is hard for me to concentrate on my work but my mom works at my school so that helps. I'm glad that I at least have my bestie, Isabella. I had 3 other besties, Ami, Tadum and Kait but they drowned in the toilet. :(  I have no one to help me with homework. There is no light in our shack and I have to sit under a road lamp just to read! When I get home my mom is still working but at her second job  because we can't afford a lot of things. Hi, my name is Shannon and I am a funny girl who loves to blog! So basically we had to do simile and metaphor poems and I had some time struggling writing them because I am used to writing poems about how I don't fit in or how I am not a very popular girl but this time I could make up anything and it wouldn't be on my mind already from memories so I thought and thought and thought and then it hit me it doesn't have to be any different!
